PRP Vampire Therapy (Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy) is a noninvasive medical procedure that uses the patient’s own blood which is re-injected into the skin to obtain rejuvenation/revitalisation/tightening/improvement in skin tone, laxity and texture. Blood is drawn from the arm and centrifuged in one of the highest and latest technology centrifuge machine to separate plasma. In fact, what it is obtained is called PRP (platelet rich plasma) highly concentrated in growth factors. This is then injected in desired areas and stimulates the cells to produce new collagen and elastin (collagenogenesis), new microcirculation (angiogenesis), glycosaminoglycan and mucopolyzaharide (2 proteins essentials for cellular metabolism). After being injected into the skin, the platelets will start secreting Growth Factors within 10 minutes but the process of synthesis will continue over the next 7-10 days.
