Rafael is a certified fitness instructor and internationally accredited body builder, by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness. He trained as a LesMills Instructor in Body Attack, Body Pump, RPM, Sprint and Grit, as well as a TRX Suspension trainer instructor, a HIIT trainer and kickboxing trainer. Rafael has completed the ‘Prenatal Functional Pilates Coach’ Program at the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning and has received certification in Sport Massage, Deep-Tissue Massage and Classic Massage by the ALS Academy. He is certified in First Aid by “Emergency First Response”.
Rafael has worked as a fitness coach and personal trainer for many years. His passion for fitness and general wellbeing, in combination with his positive outlook and motivating personality have enabled him to improve the health and fitness levels of his customers, while designing custom-made programs and developing their personal fitness goals and targets. He has co-founded 1ON1 Fitness, with a mission to provide specialized and personalized fitness services.
Maria has been a professional pre-athlete of the Pancyprian Gymnastic Association (GSP) and the Cyprus National Track Team in 400m, 200m and 4x400m relay. Her passion for sports and fitness has led her to study for the Health and Fitness Professional Certification (EHFA Standards EQF Level 4) with a specialization in personal training. She also trained as a LesMills Sprint Instructor and TRX suspension trainer instructor. She is certified by the ALS Academy in Sport Massage, Deep-Tissue Massage and Classic Massage. Maria has completed the ‘Prenatal Functional Pilates Coach’ Program at the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning and she is certified in First Aid and AED by the St. John Association.
Maria has extensive experience as a personal trainer and fitness instructor and she designed specific class programs to fit her customers’ needs and fitness goals. She has worked closely with her customers to adapt and modify their fitness training to help them maximize their benefit and ensure their safety. She has co-founded 1ON1 Fitness, aiming to help people get and stay in shape, while encouraging fitness and overall good health.
